USA228 Inc. is an incorporate US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the Togolese Culture in the US through community events and local networking opportunities .Our objective is also to create a platform to educate and empower all Africans enabling them to evolve together in the US.We bringing together diverse Togolese, African, American and Internal communities, artists and entrepreneurs in the Unites States.
TOGO Culture Link Up is an annual nonprofit pan African Festival in America.Our goal is to promote the Togolese culture and the Africa culture in general, and foster the integration of our communities.After our successful first edition in Omaha, this year will mark our second annual Togo Culture Link Up and it will be held from July 28th to July 30th 2017 within the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Togo has a population of 6.8 million, 75% of whom are under the age of 35. Throughout its 650km of beautify country, you will have the chance to meet many ethnic groups who make up the population and to experience their unique traditions
Togo has many people who are still deeply rooted in their traditions: the Ewe and Guin people in the south; the Ana and the Tem in the central region; Bassar and Kabye, Tamberma people in from the Kara region; and the Moba-Gurma in the far north. Each ethnic group has its own tradition that closely linked to the group’s religious context
